Long recognized as a leader in the rescue and work-at-height equipment industries, we applied our expertise and resources to the development of a curriculum for teaching technical rescue and rope access skills. Our hands-on method, taught by the industries’ most seasoned professionals, is what sets the CMC School apart from other training programs.
CMC School’s innovative REMS/Remote Rescue Workshop is an intensive 4-day training that goes beyond the traditional techniques taught in rope operations and technician courses. This comprehensive class introduces students to Rapid Extraction Module Support (REMS) concepts and focuses on scenarios involving challenging and hazardous environments. Students are given hands-on experience with alternative rope rescue tactics and strategies, and learn to employ lightweight equipment not typically found in a standard rescue cache.
