The ascender includes a proprietary roller, which not only greatly helps climbing efficiency by making the upward glide much smoother but also significantly reduces dangerous wear and tear on the device. Consequently, you avoid the damaging friction common on traditional ascenders.

The ergonomic rubber handle extends into the upper part of the spine, allowing you to utilize a secure and powerful double-handed grip during ascent. Furthermore, the design aligns the handle and the rope on the same plane, thereby ensuring you achieve the best possible handling and overall efficiency.

The device features three large attachment points—two conveniently located on the bottom and one at the top—which facilitate optimal and organized management of your necessary equipment.

Manufacturers constructed the robust body from durable 3.5 mm aluminum alloy, and technicians specifically verified the geometry for reliable and confident use during horizontal traverses.

The toothed cam includes a special anti-wear treatment and features drain holes, helping it prevent the buildup of potentially hazardous mud and grit during use. Additionally, the opening system incorporates protection on both sides to prevent any accidental openings while you are working.

The proprietary roller allows you to rig the Turbohand as a locking pulley for light hauling with a maximum load of 50 kg (110 lbs). However, note that this specific configuration is absolutely not intended for hauling or securing human bodies.

You can attach a stainless steel rope guide, known as the Turbohand Guide (available as a separate accessory), to the bottom of the handle, which perfectly aligns the rope for long and continuous ascents.
