This year’s event was hosted again by the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department and AHS Rescue/Arizona Hiking Shack. Teams from across the state of Arizona met at Saguaro Lake Ranch and battled head-to-head and determined the top team for the 2022 Water Rescue Expo.
It was a hot one and a good day to be in the water. This year’s participants were Globe Fire Department, Glendale Fire Department, Graham County Search and Rescue, Daisy Mountain Fire, and Utah. After all was said and done, Globe Fire’s team bested the others, taking home top honors for the 20th anniversary event.
