Description
Teufelberger KM III Static Rope is an exceptional static rope for rappelling, caving, rescue, top roping, fixed rope applications, hauling, tree care, and life safety applications—a true jack-of-all-trades.
The polyester cover of KM III is balanced with a polyamide core to limit rotation, bouncing, and stretch. The rope construction of the KM III with its 32-strand robust cover provides for an optimum cover/core ratio, ensuring an extraordinarily smooth cover, higher tensile strength values, and superior handling characteristics.
Our KM III is certified to EN 1891A/B, NFPA 2500 (1983), and ANSI Z133 (depending on diameters). As a treecare climbing rope, KM III is available in two standard diameters and three standard colors; other diameters and colors are available on request.
KM III in black can even be used as extra-firm rope reins in horse riding.
The static KM III excels with:
- 32-strand cover for optimum cover/core ratio
- polyester over polyamide with a balanced, torque-free construction
- excellent handling and knot-holding characteristics
- high abrasion resistance
- excellent UV protection
