Confined Space Rescues

Too many times we respond to emergency calls without complete knowledge of what it is we are getting into. The call may come in as EMS in nature, a fall injury, an unconscious person, an electrocution, but when we arrive on the scene we tend to default to those actions we do best such as; CPR, and other first aid functions...we feel compelled to take action, caught up in the moment, not seeing the confined space environment in front of us. It is essential that we recognize a confined space emergency when we're not expecting one. We must take the blinders off and see the big picture!

Educational Resources is intended for the use of the rescue community.  Anyone wishing to contribute to this resource should send their information to:  Dale@ahsrescue.com
